Dear Community,

This is will be our final weekend offering Curbside to the community. We are putting the necessary plans into place to be able to reopen our doors as safely as possible. We will announce our reopening date when the time is right for the business to do so. We look forward to welcoming you all back in soon!

Coast is preparing take home meals to alleviate some of the need for our community to enter more heavily populated areas during this time of being asked to shelter in place. 100% of the profits received will now be donated to The Forest School and the Big Sur Grange Hall throughout the remainder of this weekend.  

The Forest School is a non-profit nature inspired educational experience for young children. The philosophy honors the development of the whole child through embodied exploration and relational awareness of self, others and the environment.

The Big Sur Grange Hall has long been a hub of activity in the community. A fraternal organization founded in 1867 to promote the economic and political well-being of farming communities, the National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry is America's oldest agricultural advocacy group. Today, there are more than 160,000 members in over 2,100 chapters throughout the United States. The California State Grange was founded in 1873. The Big Sur Grange was founded in 1948, and is affiliated with the State Grange. The evolving times have have allowed this special gathering space host the annual StageKids! summer theater program, the annual Big Sur Harvest Craft Fair and the Grange Exchange. The hall also hosts election-day polling, meetings, conferences, concerts, live theater and classes for the community.

Both of these community organizations partially receive their funding through annual fundraising, private donations and dues. We're grateful for the ability to support our community through this time. Thank you for supporting us in our efforts to do so!

Guidelines for pick-up

**MANDATE UPDATE- all visitors of Curbside are to wear face coverings and are to practice social distancing. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. 

The staff involved are practicing safe distancing and are following the CDC’s guidelines to avoid spreading the virus which is why offerings will be facilitated by either of the options below-

1. Guarantee meals for your shelter-in-place crew by pre-purchasing here. 
2. Just swing by our parking lot! You will be provided with the link to safely make your payment online in the comfort of your home. 
3. Cash is being accepted, but we are not facilitating making change. Please bring what you're willing to donate. 

These meals are to be taken off property, reheated and enjoyed elsewhere.
